Belugas at the Belugas' cape, Grand Solovki island
Belugas at the Grand Solovki island
The islands and the waters are the habitat for amazing animals and birds. The arctic terns nest here and then cross the globe for Antarctic to stay over winter. The seals escort the fishing boats hoping to share the catch. Every morning a flock of white whales – belugas – appear at the Belugas’ cape. Nowhere else do they ever swim up so close to the shore.
