Abundance, another wall

Naive art borrowed from the folklore the method of multiplication, redundancy of the images. Unlike the "academic" still-life composition where all the objects should be balanced, in naive still-life painting the composition is gradually evolving from the centre, getting more complicated and altered with more new objects.
Naive artist supplies his painted flowers and fruits with monumentality and significance; he forms with them somewhat a model of the universe. In Alexander Mukhin's "Bunch of Flowers" the objects begin to "speak" on themselves: a bottle of alcohol, being tightly attached to the idiom "Green Serpent", transforms into a Serpent, big bunch of bright flowers becomes a tree of paradise and a cut fruit symbolises the Fall.
