Beasts in the naive art are amazingly strong and great; their appearance brings us back to the protobeasts. The features of such a protobeast could be noticed in the images of lion painted by Henry Rousseau, Niko Pirosmanashvili and Elena Volkova. Correlating with this image are the words from the old Russian spiritual verses of the XVII - XIX centuries, which reflect the folk poetic idea of the strongest beast, fish and bird "Mother of all the beasts". Its right place is in the myth of creation, in the Eden.
