Professor of Art History

Born in Kiev. Art historian, specialist in the primitive art in East Europe and Latin America. Graduated from Historical faculty, Art History department, Moscow State University. Since 1957 working at the State Institute for Art Studies of Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation and Russian Academy of Science. Occupied in the primitive art since 1977.
Author of more than 50 works in history of East-European and Latin-American art of Baroque and the age of Enlightenment.
