Ivanovo cotton museum is located in the mansion which was built in early 20th century in modern style according to A.Snurilov design and belonged to D.G.Burylin. The museum started in May 1987. The museum displays illustrate textile production in Ivanovo area from ancient times to present.

Exhibited are
- peasants’ tools for making linen,
- unique boards – manera – for applying patterns to fabric,
- specimens of hand made fabrics and costumes,
- fabrics of industrial printing,
- costumes of 19-20th centuries.
