DEPICTING SOURCES FUND
Depicting sources fund contains pieces of painting, graphics, sculpture and applied arts copper casting, Rostov enamel, lacquered miniature painting from Palekh and Kholuy.
Collection of ancient Russian art contains a group of icons with prevailing later monuments of local provincial centers of icon painting. There are items be Palekh icon painters of 18-19th centuries.
Collection of Rostov enamel of 18th- early 20th cent. reflects certain periods in this crafts history.
Collection of Russian painting contains masterpieces of provincial portrait art by anonymous and known painters of this genre N.Mylnikov, P.Dubrovin, P. Tcerkassov, and others.
In the graphic collection a distinguished place is occupied by textile designes.
The two world known centers of modern lacquer miniature - Palekh and Kholuy are represented by names and works of I.Golikov, I.Bakanov, N.Zinovyev (Palekh) and V.Puzanov, N.Denissov (Kholuy).
